Following is the brief reports on last events/programmes at our Sai Mandir.

Monthly YOUTH MEET - 16.06.2007
------------------------------------------
As decided earlier for organising YOUTH MEET on every 3rd Sunday of the month at our Sai Mandir, accordingly this month's meet was organised on 16.06.2007. A number of SAI youths of Paradip were present in the meet.

The meet started with 3 times Omkaaram and 15 minutes Bhajan.

Dr.Satya Swarup Pattnaik, Swami's ex student spoke for about 10 minutes to the assembled youths. He suggested to invite and unite all silent youths who are keeping themselves away from the organisational activities. This should be considered as important in view of Swami declaring the year 2007 as the YEAR OF YOUTHS. He also informed all youths should be encouraged for public speaking. Inside every youth there is a silent speaker. Accordingly following topics and speakers are short listed for next four Thursdays :

He also stressed on imparting Bhajan training to SAI YOUTHS and giving them scope to lead the bhajans in the mandir during evening bhajans on Monday and Thursday.

It was decided that all lead singers of the Samithy will go through the Bhajan training, auditions and they should try to sing in the tune of bhajans being sung at Parthi. Youths who were trained in Veda chanting by our beloved PJP Rao mausa and mausi, will train others. The youths will be devided into two groups. Each group will chant Vedas alternately on Monday and Thursday for 25 minutes before commencement of evening bhajans. Likewise all youths were divided into two groups, one group attending the Nagar sankirtan on Monday and other group on Thursday. The group will also clean Mandir floor on their respective days of attendance, will take care of decorations with CHEETA/Garlands on Swami's photos and Shoe stands etc.

It was decided that all SAI YOUTHS wouldl maintain spiritual diaries which are to be submitted at the lotus feet of Swami before Bhajan on every Monday. All youths also would write Likhita Japa in the new JAPA KHATAs, printed for submission at the lotus feet of Swami in Parthi During Orissa Youth festival in November, 2007.

The meet ended with 21 times Omkaaras, chanting of Mahamrityunjay mantra and Sai Gayatri for 21 times and Aaarti to our beloved Swami.

Our revered Shri Antaryami Pattnaik mausa, Shri Rajeev Lochan Sahoo Mausa and Shri Bipin Bihari Panigrahi mausa offered their valuable opinions and views to the participants. Their presence was encouraging for all the youths.

Monthly SAADHANA CAMP on 17.06.2007

This month's Saadhana Camp was conducted on 17.06.2007 in the presence of state office bearer Shri Parshuram Sahoo. The programme started with Omkaaras, Bhajan, chanting of Astotara Satanamavali, chanting of Mahamrutyunjaya mantra and Sai Gayatri and reading of Swami's divine message.

Shri Parshuram Sahoo discussed about relevance of each point in the "Nine code of conducts".

Shri Antaryami Pattnaik spoke about "Role of Active workers in the SAI Organisation". Also he reminded of the responsibilities taken by the active workers and each worker to introspect whether they are delivering the goods or not.

The programme ended with Dhyanam, Aaarti to Swami and Prasad Sevan.


Monthly Shakti Swarupini Divasa on 19.06.2007

Like every month, this auspicious day was celebrated by Mahila Bibhag of our Samithy. Sai youths [girls] chanted Vedas which was repeated by Mausis. Spiritual diaries were submitted. The programme ended with Japa, Bhajans and offering of Aaarati to Swami.

Two of our old mausis [Smt. Premashila Sahoo and Smt. Pratibha Satapathy] participated in the programme while visiting the Mandir. There were in a personal visit to Paradip. They felt like visiting Puttparthi and delighted to see the old faces in the crowds. During their Paradip stay of about 30 years, Premashila mausi was Education coordinator and Pratibha Mausi was Mahila Bibhag coordinator of our Samithy for a prolonged period.

Pranati Mohapatra [Pinki] got married to son of Dr.Ashok Das mausa who was in Port Trust Hospital during 1980s as a medicine specialist.

Dipuna [Son of Pramila Sahoo mausi] got married.



Sasmita Sethi [Mani] [eldest daughter of Iswar Chandra Sethi mausa] getting married on 23.06.2007

Jhuna [daughter of Late Brundavan Nayak mausa] getting married on 25.06.2007.

Let us all pray their happy married life and Swami bless them all.

DIST. LEVEL SUMMER COURSE - 2007

Here is a brief report of the Dist. Level [Jagatsinghpur] Summer Course for Sai youths held at Paradip from 01st June to 03rd June 2007 at the Sai Mandir, Paradip.



Dt.01.06.2007 :
----------------

In the afternoon registration of the participants were carried out. Acommodation for boys were made at Saraswati Sisu Mandir and for the girls at our Mandir. Total about 351 youths particpated in this camp. Participants reported from various places of Jagatsinghpur districts.


The meet was inaugurated by our revered State President, Prof. Harikrishna Dash amdist Vedam chanting by our Sai Youths [girls], Singing of chorous etc. Prof. Dash in his inaugural speech emphasized on the Importance of INDIAN CULTURE AND SPIRITUALITY. He said... "Indians are those who love God. Bhagawan Baba has proclaimed this land of Bharata is the land of Veda not vedana [miseries]. Therefore we should love our culture and spiritulity of this land". He also defined GOD as said by Swami. Culture means to achieve excellence in human life. "Without culture, man is like vulture" was his punchline.

In the cultural programme segement, Mangarajapur, Kujanaga youths presented GHODA NAACHA [Horse Dance], the traditional Oriya folk dance which if approved by state organisation, will be presented before Swami during November 2007, Orissa youth festival at Prasanthi Nilayam.

Our beloved State President spoke on PURPOPSE OF LIFE to the participating youths. He explained about what should be the purpose of life and how each of us can make ourselves a scented flower so that we can be used for Swami. Each of us should be a flower in the Sai's garden.

Prof. Bhimshen Dash spoke lucidly on the topic LOVE, THE UNDER CURENT OF ALL VALUES. As we all know, while delivering his speech, he always proves his name like BHIM in Mahabharath.

Our all time beloved Shri PJP Rao mausa having came all the way from Kolkata spoke about UNITY OF FAITH. Infact the concept of Summer course at Paradip was initiated by Shri PJP Rao Mausa.

Next speaker was Shri Amiya Ranjan Kanungo who sopke on GUIDING PRINCIPLE OF SRI SATHYA SAI EDUCARE

Thereafter Prof. Harikrishna Dash, our revered State President spoke on UNDERSTANDING HUMAN WORKSHOP.

Next speaker on SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY was Prof Bhimshen Dash.

Shri Amiya Ranjan Kanungo spoke on the subject TELL ME YOUR FREIND, I WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU ARE"

Theereafter there was a symposium which was attended by lot of dignitaries of Paradip Port Trust and state administration.

On the concluding day, there were group discussions, quiz and following topics were discussed :

-EXISTENCE OF GOD AND FATHERHOOD OF GOD.
-BROTHERHOOD OF MAN AND OUR ROLE.
-INTEGRATION OF 3 HUMAN VALUES - ANALYSIS OF REAL LIFE CASE STUDIES.
-BHAGWAN BABA IS OUR ROLE MODEL.

Thus a great programme of our organisation came to an end on 03.06.2007 afternoon.
