MEDICAL SEVA - 23.03.2008

By grace of our beloved Sai Maa, this week's medical seva was carried out at Biju Memorial Hospital at 0630 hrs to 0930 hrs on 23.03.2008. Two wards, latrines, Bath rooms, Basinees cs, Urinals and the verenda was cleaned/washed by Swami's devotees and youths. Altogether 13 people participated in this Medical Seva which is unique in its own way as Sai youth take care of the fields which are untouched by any other organisations. Youths have thought of putting placards/writings on the wall of the hospital with some good captions which can inspire the patients and their attendants to not misuse and disfigure the hospitals.

We cant post the photos of this seva as same could not be taken during seva.

HOLI CELEBRATIONS-2008 BY SAI YOUTHS

CELEBRATIONS OF HOLI-2008 BY SAI YOUTHS,

Sairam. By grace of Swami, this year's Holi like yester years was celebrated with decency, environment freindly colours and with Namasmarana which is important to note. Like every year, the celebrations started with offering colours to Swami at the mandir and with chanting of Omkara and singing of Bhajans. Thereafter the youths covered Badapadia, Nuabazar and Madhuban residences of almost all sai family members and Sai Youths. Gulal was offered on the feet of elders and some time was applied to the foreheds. Youths maintained decency while enjoying the festival. First numbers bhajans of Sai Krishna was sung in unison thus vibrating the atmosphere in the residence of each sai family members. The youths were offered with love, sweets, lassis etc by the sai family members. This celebrations was from 08.30 AM to 01.00 PM and the Sai youths had proceeded to village SHAM JORI to attend Nagar Parikrama and other programmes at 03.00 PM on the same day. Report on Youth meet on 15.03.2008 [New Posting]

Report on monthly Sai Youth meet – 15.03.2008

By the grace of our beloved Sai Maa, the monthly youth meet for March,2008 was held at our Mandir on 15.03.2008. The meet started with 20 minutes Bhajan at 4.15 PM. Thereafter chanting of Astottara Naama, Chanting of slokas and stotras was carried out. Brother Dr.Satya Swarup Pattnaik rendered training of Veda (Narayana Suktam) to participating youths. The consent given in the last youth meet on 01.01.2008, by the youths, for participating in various activities of the Samithy was reviewed and the following decisions were taken :

1. All youths are to maintain Spiritual Diaries and Likhita Japas which should be submitted at the lotus feet of Bhagwan in the subsequent youth meet. All youths should attend the Mandir Nagar Sankirtan on every Saturday. After Nagar Sankirtan, the Veda and Bhajan training to be conducted. Sister Lisha Tripathy was requested to organize the above.

2. As per the directives from he State organisation, all youths should do swadhyay of SATYOPANISHAD – Part I [First 30 pages] which will be discussed in group, in the next Youth meet.

3. Next issue of SAI SRUJANEE to be published on SRIRAMA NAVAMI day in April,2008. Interested sisters to submit their articles to Kum. Smaranika Swain and brothers to Shri Narahari Subudhi, well in time.

After the discussion, our respected Sai family member Shri Bipin Bihari Panigrahi advised the youth participants about the conducts of Sai Youths in the organization as well as in the Society. Swami’s message of YOUR LIFE SHOULD BE MY MESSAGE should be a reminder to all the youths in their behaviourial aspects.

The meet ended with Mangala Aarati to Bhagwan.

Mahashivaratri - 06.03.2008

Like every year, Mahashivaratri being celebrated at our Samithy on 06.03.2008. In the morning Suprabhatam and Nagar Sankirtanam, Hoisting of Prasanthi Flag, Sodasopachar Puja was held at Mandir. Our Samithy brothers and sisters organised Bhajans at PPL and Sector-21 shiva Mandir besides at the residence of Shri NKR Murty and Balidia village during day time. Akhand Bhajan started at sharp 6 PM after Omkaram and chanting of SAI GAYATREE 9 times. Especially SAI YOUTHS are rendering nice bhajans of Lord Sai shiva.... some of whom are .. Shankara sadasiva Chandrasekhara, Shivaya namah shiva shivaya namah shiva, Mrityunjayaya nama om.... Akhand Bhajan will continue till 0600 hrs of 07.03.2008. Sairam.

Monthy YOUTH meet - 24.02.2008

By grace of Swami this month's [3rd meet of this year] was held at Mandir on 24.02.2008 attended by youths besides our District Presdient, Shri Pradip Bhai, Bipin Kaka and other Mausas and Mausis. Dr.Satyaswarup Pattnaik and Kirtimoyee Mohanty conducted the meet. Besides regular programmes, the youths dicussed on the topic GRAM SEVA IS RAMA SEVA and shared their experience of participating in the Gram Seva especially the adopted village NARENDRAPUR under VIP scheme. Thereafter the Dist. President condcuted a meeting discussing about future programmes during next 3 months. Two screens were donated to Balidia and Phulabelari village for use in their Mandirs by our Dist. President. Click the below link for the photos taken on the occassion.
