REPORT OF MONTHLY SAI YOUTH MEET ON 15.09.2007
Sairam.
This month's meet was held on 15.09.2007 at our SAI MANDIR on the auspicious day of VINAYAK CHATURTHI. The meet was attended by sai youths [boys and girls] and graced by two former students of our beloved Swami Lala Sushanta Kumar Ray and Shri Satya Swarup Pattnaik [Lucky].
The meet started with Bhajans, Omkarams for 21 times, Japa, Veda chanting etc. Thereafter brother Lala Sushanta Kumar Ray was invited to address the participants. Brother was little disapointed observing the absence of sence of punctuality amongst us as nobody had turned up at the scheduled time of the meet i.e. 1630 hours. He advised that when we are starting any programme, Swami arrives there on the exact time in his subtle form. We should therefore very very careful in future. Then he spoke of his experience with the divinity during his students days and when he started the SAI ANANDAM project at Baranga [near to Cuttack]. The SAI ANANDAM project has started by the former Sai students of Swami from Orissa. You can visit the SAI ANANDAM blog on following link.

Then brother advised us to follow strictly Swami's teachings and to be mindful of our actions. We should not do something which will be not liked by Swami. He also described some of Swami's miracles in his life while involved in GRAMA SEVA activities.
Then brother Lucky rendered veda training to the youths in the small time left over. Then he also discussed about the enhancing quality of the SAI SRUJANI the quarterly wall magazine of Paradip SAI YOUTHS. Finally the programme ended with special bhajan on occassion of the VINAYAK CHATURTHI, Swami's discourse on VINAYAK CHATURTHI and the Aaraati offered by Lala bhai.
All participants enjoyed the icecream which was brought to them by Antaryami Mausa.
