SEVA WORK AT VILLAGE NARENDRAPUR ON 28.10.2007

Sairam to all.

Few days remaining for the Orissa Festival at Parthi. Our prayers should be vigorous now.

By the grace of Swami there was a youth seva at the village NARENDRAPUR under BISWALI grama panchayat [Kujanga Block] under Jagatsinghpur District on 28.10.2007 participated by the youths of Mangarajapur, Paradip and Biswali alongwith other Samithy brothers. This village is being adopted by our Samithy/District under V.I.P scheme as formulated by Swami's organisation. This activities is inspired by Swami's UGADI discourse which prompted our Organisation to act on this innovative scheme.

The major activity of the programme was to cleanse the village pond which was full of green watery plants growths, construction of a small kaccha road to connect the villagers to the open space of the village called DANDAA as the previous kacha road was damaged by the super cyclone of 1999.[ which conincide today's date i.e. 28.10], A meet... to explain about MOTHER AND CHILD CARE by our Youth sisters, A health camp.

Our dear Nikhil mausa had helped in conducting the camp.

The prgoramme of the day ended with offering of Aarati to Swami and Prasad Sevan thereafter.

We are thankful to Swami, Bipin Kaka, Chida, Manu, Rajeev Mausa, Nikhil Mausa, Dr.Mohpatra and all villagers of the NARENDRAPUR for the smooth programme.

By Grace of Swami, the monthly youth meet for October, 2007 was held at 1600 hrs at our Mandir.... conducted by ex student of Swami Dr.Satya Swarup Patnaik. Omkaaras, Japa, Meditations, Bhajans were conducted. Veda training imparted by Dr.Patnaik. Then the monthly activities of youth programmes were reviewd and discussions were made how to improve the qualities of youth programmes and how to organise them regularly.

All participants described about the transformations in their lives after they came in contact with Swami's organisation and Sai movement. All participants were requested by Antaryami Mausa and Mausi to attend the Nagar Sankirtanam and Bhajans without fail which are considered to be the backbone of our spiritual life [Nama Smarana].

The date of next youth meet is fixed for 17th November, 2007. The topic of the discussion will be about the "Experience at Orissa Festival" to be held at Prasanthi Nilayam during November 1st and 2nd week.

All were requested to pray Swami for success of the festival for which everyday Bhajan and Prayer of SAI GAYATRI [21 times] are held in our Mandir.

All youths participated in the evening bhajan on this auspicious AVTAAR DECLARATION DAY.

VISIT OF HONOURABLE STATE PRESIDENT TO OUR SAMITHY ON 19.10.2007 [click here to be directed to photo album of President's visit]

State President had paid a small visit to our Samithy on 19.10.2007 evening. He was given a traditional welcome by our samithy members. Then he inaugurated the DASARA SPECIAL of SAI SRUJANEE, an YOUTH [wall] MAGAZINE. He glanced through it. Again he was given the welcome by our Samithy sisters in Mandir while Bhajan was being conducted. Then he offered Aaarati to Swami and all were taken to the 1st floor of Mandir where all preparations were made for the staging of the drama MAHA BHAKTA DASIA which is all set to be staged at Puttaparthi, Swami willing during November Orissa mahotsava. After a brief meeing with Jagannath Mausa [whom we got amongst us at Paradip] after a long time, Dist. President, Bidhan Mausa he entered to the hall, lighted the lamp thus inagurating the drama programme and paid respects to Swami. After he occupied the seat alongwith Swami [in his subtle form] and other dignitaries, the drama started.

The drama was nice and praised by all. State President advised to all for praying Swami for the staging of Drama and success of Orissa Mahostav at Parthi. Jagannath Rao Mausa also spoke on this occassion. Padma mausi was at Paradip since last 15 days helping children to get used to the acting with the voice recording of the drama.

State President left 19th night and we will be missing our Jagannath Mausa and Padma Mausi who are leaving Paradip on 20th early morning.

Swami says not to be attached with anything. But it is very difficult to be non attached with good people, good programmes and good occassions. Only our beloved Swami can help us.

DIST. LEVEL MAHILA CONVENTION - 13.10.2007

Swami always gives respect to women. Our country also keeps women on fore front. The Jagatsinghpur District Mahila convention was held at Paradip Samithy on 13.10.2007 which was attended by ladies from across the district. The whole programme was conducted by the ladies alone.

Preparation for Orissa Youth Festival in November, 2007

Balvikash Classes at our Paradip Samithy.

As far as I remember, Our Balvikash Classes are started around 1971-72 when i was in school. Our Gurus were Shri Dibakar Samal Mausa, Late Shri Pitambar Sahoo mausa, Shri Ram Charan Mishra Mausa, Shri Bidhan Chandra Mishra mausa and later on Shri SK Roy mausa, Putuli Nani. B.V. classes were not organised as it is now. However by grace of Swami some of us were able to attend Swami's Golden Jubilee Birth day celebration and 1st All India Balvikash Rally in 1975. I still remember the marching song of the rally "SAI SAI JAPTE CHALO BOLO MILKAR SAIRAM". B.V. class was the 2nd place of character building after our homes.... being the 1st place of learning by our earthly parents.
